Welcome to the webpage of the fine painter Kees Blom.

Passion drives me to paint. Because people, colours, nature, these things and their mortality fascinate and move me.
Painting opens my eyes and heart and allows me to see and feel reality as I experience it; this to me are the everlasting feelings called emotion and passion.
Observing and looking at things close to you, you find that you see more. Something small turns out to be something big, and normally it would escape your quick and fleeting eye. In the end, all my paintings are a kind of 'self-portraits', that my inspired eye has caught with brush and paint.
